Memories of the Morris
The car that helped drive the innovative idea of role play training in the late 1980’s makes its return to proud owner Phill Doulton.
The 1963, Morris Minor, loyally ferried Phill and other role players to multiple workshops around the country. Role play as a method of training and development was in its infancy at the time and the diversity and sheer dynamic of the field, was heavily overlooked. This renowned vehicle aided the expansion of role play as a concept of improving communication in both the corporate and medical spheres. However, this legendary car sadly remained hidden in a barn for nearly ten years. Through extensive research and continual perseverance, Phill was able to hunt it down. A classic car renovation company based in Devon, took one year to rebuild the vehicle back to its former glory, and this summer, the car made its return home. Both Phill and the rest of the PRP team were glad to see it back and restored to its original state. The racing green Morris Minor stands as a prominent symbol for the drive and journey that PRP has taken over the past twenty-five years.
